Jakarta – Presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto congratulated the Indonesian national football team for their success in reaching the round of 16 in the 2023 Asian Cup.
This was conveyed by Prabowo while attending an open campaign with the theme “Young Voices of Indonesia for Prabowo-Gibran” at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Saturday (27/1).
Prabowo said that Indonesia, for the first time in many years, has made history by securing a spot in the round of 16 in the 2023 Asian Cup. “And for the first time in many years, Indonesia made it to the top 16 of the Asian Cup,” said Prabowo.
He also urged the public to continue supporting the Indonesian national team. Moreover, the next match will be against Australia. “If I’m not mistaken, they will play against Australia tomorrow. Let’s pray for a surprise. But whatever happens, let’s support our national team,” he said.
