Attendees at the Annual Session of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR/DPR/DPD) were moved to a standing ovation after a video showcasing President Prabowo Subianto’s administration achievements played at the Nusantara Building in Jakarta. The video, which lasted eight minutes, highlighted the successful implementation of priority programs during Prabowo’s 10 months in office since his inauguration in October 2024. It featured testimonials from the public expressing appreciation for initiatives like the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program and the People’s School (Sekolah Rakyat), evoking emotional reactions from some audience members.
House Speaker Puan Maharani then invited Prabowo to deliver his State Address, to which the president respectfully bowed to the MPR members and guests before beginning his speech at the 2025 Annual Session. Prabowo bowed once more before legislators as he took the stage.
Later in the day, Prabowo is set to present his introductory remarks and explanation on the Draft State Budget (APBN) for Fiscal Year 2026, along with the Financial Note and supporting documents. This event marks a significant moment in Prabowo’s presidency, showcasing the progress and initiatives of his administration.
