Prabowo’s MBG Program Reaches Six Million Beneficiaries

President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, proudly announced the success of the government’s Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, which has garnered international attention and is now being discussed in global diplomatic circles. The program, aimed at providing nutritious meals to schoolchildren, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers, has surpassed six million beneficiaries as of July 2025. During the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress in Solo, Prabowo highlighted the program’s achievements and its positive impact on the community. He expressed optimism that the number of beneficiaries will continue to rise, with a target of reaching 20 million beneficiaries by the end of August 2025, potentially surpassing even 25 million. The MBG program not only addresses malnutrition but also boosts the local economy by supporting food producers and vendors. Moreover, it plays a crucial role in promoting social equity and fostering early human development for a healthier and stronger future generation.
